Featuring classic songs including Pop Goes The Weasel, The Candyman and What Kind Of Fool Am I? and providing a poignant and fascinating insight into Anthony Newley’s public profile and personal life, this new solo show provides a gripping portrait of a great and internationally renowned artist.

Anthony Newley’s astonishing talent as a singer, writer, composer, actor, director and much more set him apart as a rare jewel in the entertainment world. From memorable beginnings as The Artful Dodger in Oliver Twist, Newley progressed from child star to a multi-faceted and deeply gifted artist.

David Boyle is an actor, singer and writer. As life long fans of Newley, David and his brother Simon had the idea for the show and have developed and devised it with director Jeremy Stockwell and movement director Anna Von Der Lohe, who were both seen working as drama coaches on the hit BBC series How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria?

‘A must-see show. Boyle is a star in the making –
a truly uncanny performance.’ London Lite
